ABOUT US
We live in South Wales, UK. We have bred birds of all sizes (from Zebra Finches up to African Greys and Green-Winged Macaws) for approximately 20 years.
We breed quail as a hobby - we are not a company - 'Quails From Wales' is a name we chose for our website. Our aim is to breed new colours and to breed the rarer quail to try and stop them dying out in the UK. We'd like to hear from you if you are breeding any species or new mutations of quail that we don't currently have.
We are committed to the conservation and wellbeing of the quail currently in captivity. We assisted in the research of some of the rarer species and donated their DNA samples for research in the USA. We are awaiting the results and publication of the findings in the report.
Our son also keeps birds.
