This is a clear and concise book, invaluable to those new to sheep, particularly in the early years of sheep keeping. Its colour guide helps to identify most of the breed groups that are likely to be encountered. Mary Castell is a sheep farmer and smallholder with a great deal of experience of managing a sheep flock on a small acreage.
